About TalonTyr

Built to Make Businesses Stronger

TalonTyr is a technology and business systems company based in San Angelo, Texas.

We help businesses connect the pieces that too often operate separately—lead generation, customer communication, CRM, follow-up, scheduling, reputation, artificial intelligence, websites, and internal workflows—into systems that work together.

Because technology alone is not the goal. A stronger business is.

Our Operating Philosophy

Smarter Systems. Stronger Businesses.

Most businesses do not struggle because they lack software. They struggle because opportunities and responsibilities fall between the cracks.

The Missed Opportunity

A call is missed or an inquiry arrives, but no dependable next step begins.

The Inconsistent Follow-Up

An estimate, appointment, or customer conversation depends too heavily on someone remembering what happens next.

The Invisible Customer Experience

Strong work is completed, but the customer is never asked for feedback, a review, or the next appropriate action.

The Repetitive Internal Process

Employees spend time repeating predictable work because the tools and process have never been connected.

TalonTyr exists to close those gaps. We combine automation, artificial intelligence, CRM architecture, marketing technology, web systems, and process design to help businesses operate with greater consistency, visibility, and control.

“Does this make the business operate better?”

If it does not, it does not belong in the system.

Meet the Founders

Complementary Experience. One Operating Standard.

Talon and Shelly Ross founded TalonTyr around a shared belief: better technology should produce better execution while preserving the human relationships that make a business worth choosing.

Cofounder

Talon Ross

Talon brings experience in military leadership, program management, technology, financial services, and business systems. His approach begins with an operator’s questions: What is the mission? Where does execution break down? What process should be repeatable? Will it still work when conditions are not perfect?

At TalonTyr, that means designing systems that move beyond impressive demonstrations. They must help the business capture opportunities, communicate clearly, execute consistently, and understand what is happening across the operation.

Strategy matters. Technology matters. Execution matters most.

Shelly Ross, co-founder of TalonTyr

Cofounder

Shelly Ross

Shelly brings a complementary perspective centered on people, performance, disciplined care, and the customer experience. As a Registered Nurse and Certified High Performance Coach, her professional work has required both reliable processes and a deep understanding of the people operating within them.

That perspective is central to TalonTyr’s approach. Automation should not make a business feel less human. It should remove unnecessary friction so employees can focus on the conversations, decisions, and relationships where people create the most value.

Better systems should create a better experience for the business, the team, and the customer.

How We Approach the Work

Disciplined Execution. Human-Centered Design.

Build for Real Conditions

A business system must work when the day gets busy, a customer changes direction, an employee needs clarity, or a process does not follow the ideal path.

  • Understand the mission
  • Identify operational friction
  • Define ownership and next actions
  • Test normal and exception paths
  • Measure what the team needs to see

Strengthen the People Using It

A better system should reduce preventable friction while helping employees focus on judgment, service, communication, and relationships.

  • Preserve meaningful human interaction
  • Make responsibilities clearer
  • Reduce repetitive administrative work
  • Improve the customer experience
  • Create dependable handoffs

Technology should strengthen people, not simply replace them.

That principle shapes what TalonTyr automates, what remains human, and how every system is tested before launch.

Why TalonTyr

A Name Built Around Responsibility and Execution

The name TalonTyr combines Talon with Tyr, a figure from Norse tradition associated with courage, duty, and principled leadership.

Those ideas reflect the standards we want associated with our work: build deliberately, keep commitments, create systems that hold up when the business gets busy, and use technology to strengthen the people operating the business—not simply replace them.

The best technology disappears into the operation.

  • The customer receives a faster response.
  • The employee knows what happens next.
  • The owner has better visibility.
  • The opportunity does not get lost.

The business simply works better.
